Dr. Yvonne R. Dechance is an artist-educator with experience in computers and computer design. She became interested in designing for the web in 1997, but was appalled at the number of poorly designed and hastily-conceived pages on the web. She quickly set about experimenting with her own personal website, and later designed and co-authored the Diction Domain, an educational research website. In 1999 she was hired to personally redesign the National Website for NATS Online, and oversee the transition from information website to interactive website; she continues as National Webmaster for this exciting project.

Soon she was asked to create or consult on larger websites, and to share her ideas on professional homepages. As the standards for HTML have continued to develop, so have Yvonne's designs, but she's never lost her love for fast-loading, widely-accessible webpages and user-oriented design.
